HILLSDALE, Mich. – Shane Lindemann produced a career-high four hits and Davin Montgomery and Kyle Kowal added two hits apiece in Albion College's 15-5 loss at Division II Hillsdale College.

Albion started fast, plating three runs in the first. Spencer Bonofiglio pushed Lindemann across the plate with a two-out single and Kowal followed with a two-run single.

Patrick Monahan, Albion's starting pitcher, was unable to make the run support hold up. All eight Charger batters he faced reached base safely as Monahan was touched up for six runs. Reliever Zach Brigham yielded six runs in 3.2 innings.Relievers Erich Klingelhofer, Bob Green, Troy Bodtke, and Gunnar Owens combined to allow two runs on three hits and three walks.

Albion, 17-19 overall, meets Alma College in its final Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association series of the season. The series begins with a Friday doubleheader at Alma and continues with a Sunday doubleheader at Albion's Frank Joranko Field.
