ANDERSON, Ind. – Katie Clark launched her senior season with personal best performances in two events as Albion College competed for the first time this season by traveling to Anderson University for an indoor meet.
Clark reached 32 feet, 7 inches in finishing fifth in the triple jump and she earned a fifth-place time of 10.47 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles.
The triple jump was one of Albion's best events as Rhiki Swinton finished third (33', 6 ½") and Camille Sawicki was sixth (32' 1").
The Britons also had two athletes score in the pole vault with Adleigh Dahl tying for third (8' 6 ¼") and Marissa Stegman in sixth (7' 6 ½").
Albion's best individual performance came from Jessica Shaw's second-place finish in the 1,000-meter run (3:11.45). Emily Allison scored a fourth-place place finish in the mile run (5:38.16).
Albion will compete in an indoor meet at Calvin Feb. 14.
