NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Josh Lowe, Jeremy Shephard, Justin Ware and Justin Meredith put their name alongside some of the great names in Albion College track & field history May 8 when they forged a tie for the school record in the 4x100 relay during the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College.
The Britons completed the race in 41.71 seconds to match the 1983 time set by Vernon Wilson, Pat Blakley, Gary Allore and Tim Hartson.
In other events, Alex Goricki completed his career by breaking 16 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles (15.99 seconds) and his 58.01 in the 400 hurdles was a good time considering it came after a lengthy delay due to weather.
Ryan Watson and Mitch Clinton turned in some of their best times of the season in the 1,500 meters, with Watson achieving a time of 4:05.93 and Clinton coming in at 4:06.78.
