NEW ORLEANS, La. — The Albion men's and women's track & field teams earned All-Academic recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Additionally, Cooper Bright was honored as a USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic individual.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a team must have a cumulative team GPA of at least a 3.10. For individuals, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30, competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship and/or finished the regular season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 35 in a relay event on the official NCAA Descending Order List.

This year marks the ninth since at least 2010 that the men's squad has been recognized as an All-Academic Team and the 15th time the women's team has earned this recognition. The women's squad's 3.56 cumulative GPA was their highest since at least 2010 when records go back.

Earlier this year, Bright became the first CSC Academic All-American in Albion men's track & field/cross country history. The program has also had at least one USTFCCCA All-Academic individual in each of the last seven seasons.
