ANGOLA, Ind. – Jephte Jean-Claude was busy in the opening meet of the indoor track & field season, leaping 41' 7 ¼" in the triple jump and achieving a personal record of 8.71 in the 60-meter hurdles.
Jean Claude was joined in the hurdles final by teammate Richard Annorat, who reached the finish line in 8.82 seconds.
Also achieving personal records was Rayshawn Robinson at 19' 2" in the long jump, and Andrew Strzelecki was not far off his with a heave of 44' 2" in the weight throw.
Coach Lance Coleman was pleased with Zach Osbourne's clearance at 6' 2" in the high jump.
On the track, Brant McCollum posted a time of 1:27.50 in the 600 meters, Chase Baumgardner a time of 4:38.17 in the mile, Eric Braun advanced to the final in the 60 meters and Ben Kolanowski set a time of 54.77 in the 400.
