BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – Darcy Muns produced four goals in her collegiate debut, but Albion College came out of its season opener with a 23-8 loss to Wittenberg (Ohio) University.

Wittenberg scored five times in a 4 ½ minute span of the first half to build a 6-2 lead. The Tigers broke the game open by scoring the final 10 goals of the first half.

Muns, a Lake Orion product, scored three times in the second half.

Shannon Kahl, Kate Mullins, Marah Ranger and Cassandra Reuschlein also produced goals for Albion.

The Britons next contest is a March 8 date with Meredith College in Sewanee, Tenn.
