Annorat jumps past competition in Ohio

ADA, Ohio – Richard Annorat sailed to the third-best high jump by a Division III athlete and the best triple jump by a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association athlete in the indoor season so far during the Joe Banks Invitational at Ohio Northern University.

A junior from Naples, Fla., Annorat cleared the bar at 6' 11" in the high jump and sailed 46' in the triple jump. He also finished fourth in the long jump at 21' 1 ¼".

Chase Baumgardner achieved career-best performances in the mile (4:35.65) and 5,000 meter (16:32.81), while Markeese Boyd was clocked with the fastest leg on each of the relays and ran an indoor personal record of 52.67 seconds in the 400 meters.

Next up for Albion is a Friday meet at Aquinas College.
