MARION, Ind. – It was a good day for the Albion College sprinters in the Polar Bear Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University.
It started when Alexis McGinley, Layla Wilks, Cianna Brown, Chalara Sutton set a first place time of 48.87 seconds in the 4x100 relay.
McGinley added a runner up finish in the 200 and she was third in the 100.
It carried over to the 400 where Brown finished second and the 100 where Wilks was third and fourth, respectively.
Brown and Sutton joined Tyra Thomas-Spratley and Lauren McDowell for a third place finish in the 4x400 relay (4:17.45).
In field events, Ashley Dubois finished third in the triple jump and Thomas-Spratley was fourth in the high jump.
The Britons will travel for meets at Washington (Mo.) University and Augustana (Ill.) College next weekend.
