ANGOLA, Ind. -- It was a rough outing for the Albion College men's basketball team, falling to No. 5 Trine University, 85-53. With the loss, the Britons slip to 8-3, 5-1 in the MIAA.

Caden Ebeling scored 19 points while grabbing five rebounds.

Midway through the first half, Trine began to pull away, increasing their lead to 14. Despite a jumper by Ebeling to briefly halt the momentum, the Thunder went right back to work to take a 45-29 lead at the half.

Out of the break, Trine kept all the momentum, keeping their perfect record intact. The Britons could not get within striking distance, as Trine went on to build a commanding lead.

Trine dominated the inside game, outsourcing Albion 42-26 in the paint. The Thunder shot an efficient 53 percent from the floor as well.
