The teams traded buckets throughout the first half, but Albion still held the 31-21 edge at the half.
Trine responded immediately out of the locker room, starting the new half on a 13-3 run. With the Britons trailing by one, Garland sank a pair of free throws to briefly silence the Trine momentum and put Albion back on top.
With just over eight minutes left, Garland found Perry who buried a corner three and was fouled on the play. The senior made the free throw to put the visitors ahead 48-47 for some temporary momentum.
Clinging to a five point lead, Albion made turnovers down the stretch and could not convert free throws. Trine worked to battle back and cap off their undefeated season.
A late three by Barnes evened things up at 59, but a three point play off an offensive board gave Trine the momentum to secure the win.
Albion committed 24 turnovers which led to 25 Thunder points. The Britons won the battle on the glass, 39-25.
The loss ends the stellar careers of Ebeling, Perry, Jaylen Ross, Quinton Armstrong and student assistant Jared Fife. They combine for 2,426 points over the course of their careers. Ebeling's 1,277 points sits him fifth all-time in Albion history.
The Britons finish their season with a 10-4 overall record.
