Box Score ALBION, Mich. -- On Senior Night, the Albion College women's lacrosse team reamined perfect in MIAA action with a 17-10 win over Adrian College. With the win, Albion improves to 9-2, 4-0.
Sophomore Addie Pastor had a career night with six goals in the win while Chrystelle Lopez added five goals and two assists.
After the Bulldogs opened the game with a goal, Pastor scored the first four Albion goals to keep the Brits battling back. The Britons eventually took a 5-4 lead courtesy of goals from Abby Sheklow and Chrystelle Lopez.
Trailing 7-6, Pastor's fifth goal of the half knotted the game at 7 at the break.
Less than a minute into the second half, senior Kierstin Rose put the Brits back in front with an unassisted goal.
After the Bulldogs tied it up at eight, Lopez used a free position shot to push the Brits ahead. Junior Destiny Okon quickly followed it up with a goal off a feed from Lopez for a 10-8 lead with 25 minutes remaining.
The Britons went on a roll as Ashley Iglesias followed with her second goal of the season.
Albion kept the momentum for the remainder of the game, keeping Adrian at bay.
Junior goalie Alexis Robinson made 11 saves in goal.
Prior to the game, Albion honors its six seniors -- Paige Dredge, Natalia Catanzarite, Sheklow, Iglesias, Rose and Schwarz.
Albion is back in action on Wednesday evening at Calvin. The game is set to begin at 7 p.m.
