Box Score 2 GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- In their final road trip of the regular season, the Albion College baseball team was swept by Calvin University on Tuesday afternoon.
GAME ONE: Calvin 7 Albion 3
The visitors got on the board first in the first inning. Sean Haddlesey continued his hot hitting by leading off the game with a single to right and advancing on an error by the right fielder. Drew Olszewski moved Haddlesey over with a groundout to second, putting a runner on third with one out. Senior Kellan Huang did what he does best -- and drove in Haddlesey via a sac fly.
Calvin put up two runs in the bottom of the third, taking a 2-1 advantage.
Albion answered back with a pair of runs in the sixth. Olszewski smacked a leadoff double to left, and Huang reached on an error. Matt McGann's bunt was beat out for a hit, loading the bases with nobody out. Sophomore Zac Gray followed with an RBI groundout, scoring Olszewski and tying the game at two.
The Knights opted to intentionally walk Justin Charron. The next batter, freshman Braeden Emery, lifted a sac fly to right, driving in Huang and vaulting the Britons back in front.
Albion's lead was short lived, as Calvin struck for five runs in the home half of the inning. Aided by two Albion errors, Calvin used just three hits to take the lead. Three of the five runs that frame were unearned.

Calvin padded its lead in the fifth, striking for three runs in the frame.
