Western Equestrian wins High Point Team twice

ALBION – High Point Team. High Point Team. 
 
In a Western doubleheader, the Albion College equestrian team claimed High Point Team honors in both shows, led by Robert Warwick's High Point Rider honor in the afternoon show. 
 
 
In the morning show, senior Marty Cash placed first in open reining as Aria Morgan took third. Case and Morgan went on to placed fourth and sixth in open horsemanship later in the show. 
 
In Level II Horsemanship, Albion saw riders finish in the top three in both sections. Karragen Roe won her section as Madison Brilley came in third. In the second section, Warwick placed third for Albion.
 
Madison Weeden won her section of Level I Horsemanship. In the other section, Anna Divis and Amelia Otten were second and third. 
 
Also winning her event was Lauren Hall, competing in Rookie B Horsemanship.
 
In Rookie A Horsemanship, the Britons went 1-2 thanks to Harley Davis and Vedha Reddy.
 
Albion received three more third place showings in the morning – Warwick (Level II Ranch Riding), Miley Phillips (Level II Ranch Riding) and Sawyer Haisma (Rookie B Horsemanship).
 
Hanay McKinney finished fifth in beginner horsemanship. 
 
In the afternoon show, Cash and Morgan picked up right where they left off, ending second and third in open reining. Morgan was also fifth in open horsemanship.
 
Warwick won his section of Level II Ranch Riding as well as open horsemanship.
 
Aubrey Kruske placed twice in the show. The senior finished second in Level II Horsemanship, and took sixth in Level II Ranch Riding.
 
Roe took home her second win of the day, once again winning Level II Horsemanship. Brilley was fifth in the event. 
 
Albion saw Divis win her section of Level I Horsemanship, while Amelia Otten was third in her section.
 
In Rookie B horsemanship, Ella Farwell was second.
 
Davis and Reddy placed again in Rookie A Horsemanship, taking second and third. 

McKinney ended the day with a third place finish for Albion in beginner horsemanship.

Albion will compete in their last show of 2022 Dec. 3 at home in a double western.
