ALBION – With a pair of the third place finishes, the Albion College hunt seat equestrian team opened up their 2022-23 campaign.

With a first place finish, senior Grace Szmania won the limit flat class.

Senior Hannah DesRochers earned a second place finish in her intermediate over fences class on Saturday.

Albion later received two third place showings in the day. In intro walk/trot, Emily Brooks represented the Britons while junior Mattison Coburn showed in novice flat.

On Sunday, freshman Phoebe Martin had a great showing, placing third in both open flat and open over fences.

Coburn placed third again, this time in limit flat.

Senior Emilly Ashworth finished second in limit flat.
