Women's basketball falls in Alma

ALMA, Mich. – The Achilles heel of the Albion College women's basketball team strikes again. 

Unable to overcome deficit after deficit, the Britons dropped a 63-58 decision to Alma College. It was Albion's final regular season road game of the year. 

Both Lolo Reed and Daniah Beavers paced the Brits with 16 points apiece. Beavers collected yet another double-double, bringing down 12 boards in the loss. 

From the start, the Scots held all of the momentum, as neither team could truly pull ahead by a significant margin. At the half, Alma held a seven point lead – too much for the Brits to overcome in the second half. 

Albion connected on just three of its 18 3-point attempts. 

In the regular season finale on Saturday, the Britons look to regroup against Calvin. Game time – and Senior Day – is scheduled for 3 p.m.
