Swim and dive earn Scholar All-America Team honors

RICHMOND, Va. – After another solid semester in the classroom, the Albion College swim and dive teams were recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams.

The men's team turned in a 3.20 team GPA for the fall semester, being one of 141 Division III institutions to receive the honor. With a 3.13 semester GPA, the women's team was also recognized as one of 184 DIII women's programs.

Under the first year of the Rob Brownell era, the Britons have continued to turn in a solid season in the pool, with four pool records being broken in last weekend's meet against Olivet.

The teams will compete at the MIAA Championships in Grand Rapids Feb. 16-19.
