Eudabe, Ames claim MIAA Athlete of the Week honors

LANSING, Mich. – Juniors Aaliyah Eudabe and Julia Ames were dubbed the MIAA Athletes of the Week in their respective positions. Eudabe and Ames were a key part in the Albion College women's lacrosse team's 2-0 week.

Eudabe scored 10 goals and dished out two assists in the week, recording a team-best 12 points. Her biggest game of the week came on Tuesday at Kalamazoo, where she scored six goals and added both assists for the week. In the two games, Eudabe controlled seven draws as well.

Ames was a key part of the defense, typically guarding the best player on opposing teams. Ames caused two turnovers on the week and had six ground balls, while playing every minute of both games.

The duo and the team will host Hope College on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. gametime.
