TIFFIN, Ohio – Pole vaulter

Logan Vining each won their respective events to pace the Albion men's track & field team at Heidelberg's Larry Brown Invitational.
Competing inside the brand new Frann's Fieldhouse, Monnig leapt a new PR of 4.40m to inch 0.02m closer to the program record set in 1983.
Vining's 1:59.08 mark in the 800m also led the way amongst the field.
Three other Britons finished in the top six of the event, with
Robert Belf (2:08.35),
Adan Rojas (2:12.02) and
Sam VanderWerf (2:15.01) finishing 4-5-6.
The 4x200m relay squad also paced the field with a time of 1:32.34.
Cooper Bright set a new PR in the 60m with a 7.02 and tied for second, while
Josiah Graddick finished in sole second in the 400m (50.77).
Israel Aquino was Albion's best finisher in the mile (tenth, 4:45.69), while
Myles Hancock led the Britons in the 200m (seventh, 23.64).
Alex Hammond led the way for Albion in the 3,000m (16th, 10:16.48).
Wyatt Putney jumped 6.59m in the long jump to finish fifth and enter the top 10 in program history in the event.
In the throws,
Parker McDonald notched 12
th (12.20m) while
Trevor Lemaigre took ninth in the shot put (12.46m).
