ANGOLA, Ind. – The Albion College men's track and field team completed the opening day of the MIAA Indoor Championships in eighth place at Trine University.
In the men's high jump, James Grey led the Britons with a seventh-place finish, clearing 1.81 meters. Mendbaatar Nyambayar also competed in the event, placing 15th with a mark of 1.66 meters.
Albion saw multiple competitors in the weight throw, led by Van Norman with a toss of 13.80 meters. Jose Martinez followed in 14th place (13.25m), Delmar Clay placed 15th (12.93m), and Parker McDonald finished 16th with a throw of 12.90 meters.
The Britons closed the day in relay competition, as Karma Evans, Emerson Wolbrink, Benjamin Eros, and Alex Hammond combined for an eighth-place finish in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:03.85.
