ANGOLA, Ind. — The Albion men's track and field team improved on day two of competition to secure a fourth-place finish at the MIAA Indoor Championships at Trine University.
James Grey led the Britons with a victory in the triple jump, recording a winning mark of 14.11 meters and becoming the fifth Briton to win the event. Grey also added a seventh-place finish in the high jump.
In relay competition, the 4x400-meter team of Nakireru Oghenefejiro, Logan Vining, Cooper Bright, and Josiah Graddick earned a runner-up finish to score key team points.
Will Monnig placed third in the pole vault, while Van Norman added a second-place finish to help Albion climb the standings on the final day.
Cooper Bright turned in multiple strong performances on the track, finishing third in the 200 meters and fourth in the 60 meters after qualifying through the preliminary round.
