FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- The MIAA announced the 2026 MIAA Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll following a vote of the league's eight head coaches.
Albion was selected sixth, while defending regular-season and tournament champion Hope was chosen as the preseason favorite.
The Britons finished the 2025 campaign with a 3-4 MIAA record and a 5-11 overall mark.
Albion returns sophomore midfielder Anna Huard after she earned second-team All-MIAA honors during her first collegiate season. Two-time All-MIAA goalkeeper Nicole Miller also returns for her senior year following another second-team selection. Senior attacker Logan Hutchinson and senior midfielder Ellen Chown round out Albion's returning core.
The Britons also welcome in Lauren Thomas, Abbey Scott and Audrey Scott as transfers from Siena Heights. All three were starters and key contributors for the Saints.
Albion will kick their season off at Ohio Northern on Wednesday, February 18 at 6 p.m.
