FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Connor Laidlaw has earned his first career MIAA Specialty Player of the Week honor.
In the Britons' 17-8 victory over Wilmington on February 28, the sophomore won 14 faceoffs, collected 12 ground balls and forced two turnovers. He also assisted on
Carson Farkas's first goal of the game just seconds after winning the faceoff.
Laidlaw becomes the second Briton to earn the honor, joining
Jackson Taylor from 2025. The award was created last season.
Laidlaw and the Britons return to action on Sunday, March 8 as they take on Southwestern from Texas at Alumni Field. Faceoff is at noon.
