FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Herby Basil has been awarded MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors.
In Albion's win over North Central, the freshman notched five caused turnovers and three ground balls. The five caused turnovers are the most of anyone on the team this season in a single game.
This is the Britons' first conference defensive player of the week recipient this season and first since
Caleb Howell on May 5, 2025.

Connor Laidlaw have earned MIAA Offensive and MIAA Specialty Player of the Week honors, respectively, this year.
Basil and the Britons will be back in action on Wednesday, April 1 as they open league play on the road against Alma at 4 p.m.
