ANGOLA, Ind. – The distance running crew led Albion as it completed the indoor portion of the track & field schedule in an indoor meet at Trine University. For the Britons, it was a first look at their Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rivals.

The distance medley relay team comprised of Paul Lewis, Brad Baker, Daniel Fick, and Kendall Maddox finished runner-up to Calvin. Albion's time was 10:56.57.

In individual distance events, Mitchell Klingler and Matt Melvin were fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 5,000 meters.

Zach Cooper was Albion's top individual performer on the track, finishing third in the 60-meter hurdles. Lorenzo Reese was one of three athletes to clear the bar at six feet in the high jump (he was third in the standings) and Kylen Bradley was fourth in the triple jump at 41' 6".
