MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Distance runners Paul Lewis and Matt Melvin were Albion College's leaders in the Rhodes College Open Meet. Lewis, a junior from Albion, was the second runner to complete the steeplechase, reaching the finish in 9:42.30. He was three seconds behind the event winner from Middle Tennessee State University. Melvin was fourth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:38.48.

Albion will continue its outdoor season Saturday with a meet at Indiana Wesleyan.
