HOLLAND, Mich. – Albion College had enough men produce points to earn a fourth-place finish in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Track & Field Championship. The Britons finished the two-day meet with 83 points.
Kylen Bradley soared 45' 3 ¾" on his second attempt to win the triple jump. Josh Lowe hit a jump of 42' 1 ¼" to finish fourth.
Justin Meredith was Albion's top performer in the track finals, finishing third in the 100 meters (11.23 seconds) and fourth in the 200 (22.87 seconds). Alex Goricki also competed in the hurdles, finishing fifth in the 110 (16.31 seconds) and eighth in the 400 (58.69 seconds).
In distance events, Mitchell Klingler and Paul Lewis finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the 5,000 meters. Earlier in the day, Klingler scored a seventh-place finish in the 1,500 meters. Matt Melvin and Lewis finished third and fourth, respectively, in the steeplechase.
In the field, Lorenzo Reese and Josh Lowe finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the high jump.
In all, the men achieved 29 season-best performances.
