CHICAGO – The Albion College volleyball team completed its first weekend of competition with a three-set loss (25-11, 25-16, 25-18) to the University of Chicago.

Marie Pregenzer led Albion with seven kills, Kelsey Gustafson had six, Chloe Webber had five and Taylor Rosenthal had four with three block assists.

Setter Grace VanDorn finished with a double-double of 17 assists and 11 digs.

Albion, off to a 1-2 start, returns home to prepare for its Wednesday home match against Defiance College. The first serve is set for 6:30 p.m. at Kresge Gymnasium.
