FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- For the second consecutive week,
Molly Edmunds has earned MIAA Specialist of the Week honors.
The sophomore is the first Albion volleyball player to ever win MIAA Specialist of the Week in back-to-back weeks, and only the second in program history to earn any weekly award in consecutive weeks joining Kate Winter in 2022 (9/12 and 9/19).
Edmunds was instrumental in the Britons' three-match weekend at Ohio Wesleyan's MIAA/NCAC Crossover in which they went 2-1, totaling 121 assists, 38 digs and two service aces.
In their victory over OWU, Edmunds set a career-high with 47 assists and also notched a career-best 14 digs against Wittenberg.
She currently leads the MIAA in total assists (212, 38th in Division III) and in assists per set (9.64, 21st in Division III).
Edmunds will look to add to her totals as the Britons head to Hanover to play in the Hanover Invitational from September 12-13.
