FINAL RESULTS
ALBION, Mich. — The Albion men's track & field team took second in the MIAA Triangular Meet against Alma and Olivet.
Hosting their first outdoor meet since 2023, the Britons scored 129 points just behind Alma (133) and ahead of Olivet (117).
Cooper Bright (10.90),
Wyatt Putney (11.29) and
Josiah Graddick (11.37) went 1-2-3 in the 100m. The Britons also went 1-2-3 in the 200m with the same trip of Bright (22.41), Graddick (23.32) and Putney (23.69).
Ben Yeasting took the 110m hurdles title with a time of 16.62 and placed fourth in the 400m hurdles (1:01.25).
Oghenefejiro Nakireru was fourth in the 400m (53.65) as well.
Logan Vining ran away with the 800m (1:59.64) and 1,500m (4:14.76) crowns.
Robert Belf III was runner-up in the 800m (2:05.12), and
Israel Aquino was the same in the 1,500m (4:20.11).
Dalton Weber was Albion's best performer in the 5,000m (4th, 17:21.40).
In throws, Dewayne Williams and
Van Norman were third (41.49m) and fourth (39.46m) in the discus, while
Parker McDonald and
Jose Martinez were second (42.51m) and fourth (39.33m) in the hammer throw.
John Jackson was the javelin champion (47.21m), and Williams took fourth in the shot put (11.56m).
James Grey was runner-up in the long jump (6.27m) and won the triple jump (13.89m).
The Britons' quartet of
Myles Hancock, Graddick, Putney and Bright were winners in the 4x100m relay (42.30).
