Linebacker Brice Drogosch led a Briton defense that surrendered 21 points or less in six of the nine games as he was honored as the MIAA’s Most Valuable Player in 1982.

Brice was a three-time all-MIAA pick, placed on the second team in 1980 and on the first team in 1981 and 1982.

Brice also excelled academically as the physics major was voted to the Academic All-America team by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Brice went on to complete a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan in 1985.
