Bill Feduniak earned distinction with Albion's 1940 basketballteam when he became the first Briton to earn a place on theAll-MIAA squad for the third year in a row. He began his athletichonors with a place on the All-MIAA team in 1938 as a sophomore andwent not only to place on the All-MIAA team in 1939, but to earnthe league scoring champion title as well. Upon graduation, Billjoined the U.S. Army which made use of his considerable talent as abasketball center on its team at Fort Mason (CA) from 1941 to1945.

Bill left the U.S. Army Transportation Corps with the rank ofmajor in 1946. He began his civilian career with the Kaiser SteelCorporation as a personnel representative in 1953. In 1960, Billaccepted a position as an employee relations manager with theKaiser Permanent Medical Group where he remained until hisretirement in 1983. Bill passed away in 1988.
