When he graduated from Albion, it was easy to spot BillDunn’s name in the swimming and diving team’s recordbook. His times of 22.17 seconds in the 50 freestyle and 53.85 inthe 100 butterfly were school standards, and he swam legs on therecord-holding 400 and 800 freestyle and 400 medley relayteams.

A four-time MIAA All-Conference award winner, Billsprinted to MIAA titles in the 50 freestyle from 1979 to 1981, andhe was selected as Albion’s most outstanding performer in1979.

When he wasn’t in the pool, Bill was involved withthe Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and the Sigma Gamma Epsilon geologyhonorary.

Bill, who graduated magna cum laude, has puthis geological training from Albion to work with ExxonMobil since1984. He currently holds the title of geophysical advisor with thecompany’s Sakhalin I Project in Houston. He has also beeninvolved with his kids’ athletic careers, serving on thebooster clubs at The Woodlands High School.

Bill and his wife, Virginia, are the parents of Caroline,Jennifer, and Jordan, and they live in The Woodlands,Texas.
