Albion College

John was an outstanding member of the 1972 and 1973 MIAAchampionship baseball teams. His nickname became “IronMan” because during doubleheaders he would catch the firstgame and then pitch the second game. In 1972 John was selected asthe baseball MVP both for Albion and the MIAA. He posted a seasonbatting record of .406 that year and a pitching record of 4-1. In1972 and 1973 he made the All-MIAA baseball team.

John is the owner and president of ATC Fitness Inc. ofNorfolk. He lives in Newport News, Va., with his wife Laurel andson Brent. John now passes on his baseball knowledge as the coachof his son's Little League team.
