Albion College

A ten-time letter winner, Tom participated in football,basketball and track at Albion. He was All-MIAA in track and wonthe league's 440-yard dash in 1954. A member of three consecutiveMIAA championship track teams, Tom also won the MIAA high jump in1956. During his senior year he was selected co-captain of thetrack and basketball teams.

After graduation Tom earned his medical degree from WayneState University. He served in the United States Air Force for twoyears and joined Orthopedic Associates in Grand Rapids in 1968.During his career there he has served as chairman of the Departmentof Surgery and chairman of the Division of Orthopedic Surgery atButterworth Hospital. Tom is a member of Albion's Alumni Board andresides with his wife in Grand Rapids.
