Jason Bowman jumped his way to the MIAA Men’s Most Valuable Field Performer award in 2007 and he gained all-MIAA recognition all four years.

Jason helped Albion gain a share of the MIAA men’s track & field championship in 2004 when he cleared six feet to win the high jump competition and finished fourth in the long and triple jump events at the league’s Field Day.

Jason repeated as the MIAA high jump champion in 2005, clearing 6’ 4”, while also gaining a bronze medal in the triple jump and finishing fourth in the long jump.

Jason saved the best for his final MIAA championship meet, winning the triple jump at 47’ 7” and the long jump at 23’ 3 ½” and gaining a silver medal in the high jump at 6’ 5 ½”. He advanced to the NCAA Championships where he competed in the long and triple jump events.

An economics major, Jason was a four-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll student-athlete and an Academic all-District pick in 2006.
