Known as "Buzz" throughout her Albion career, Kathryn Wysackearned 11 varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, and track andfield.

Kathryn was especially successful in field events. Afterfinishing as the league runner-up in the javelin as a sophomore,she won back-to-back MIAA championships in the event, posting amark of 95 feet, 10 inches as a junior, and extending her effort to102 feet, 11 inches as a senior.

In addition to her championship success in the javelin, Kathrynwas a top-six finisher in the league in the discus and shot put herjunior and senior years.

After graduating magna cum laude from Albion, Kathryn went on toearn a J.D. degree from the Washington University School of Law in1983.

In 1984, Kathryn established the United Methodist LegalAssistance Ministry, a program that provided free civil legalassistance to low-income residents in the St. Louis metropolitanarea. Kathryn went into general private practice in the states ofIllinois and Missouri in 1992 and continues in that work today. Shecurrently lives in St. Louis.
