More than 30 years have passed since Michael Wilson last wore anAlbion uniform on the basketball court, but he continues to holdthe school record for most points scored in a career.

In three of his four seasons, Michael made a run at the schoolrecord for most points in a season. His highest season total of 453points set during the 1967-68 season currently ties him for thefifth-best output in school history. Michael totaled 425 points ineach of the 1968-69 and 1969-70 seasons, figures that rank eighthon the school list for seasonal scoring leaders.

Michael also has two of the three top scoring games in Albionhistory. He did it in consecutive games, dropping in 42 points in acontest against Calvin Jan. 10, 1968, and following up with 46points against Olivet on Jan. 13, 1968.

Postseason awards were numerous, as Michael was selected to theall-league first team after the 1967-68 season, and for team mostvaluable player honors three times. Michael was named to theAll-MIAA second team after the 1968-69 and 1969-70 seasons, and hewas elected to The Outstanding College Athletes of America in1969.

Michael currently owns his own business in Keego Harbor. He andhis wife, Ellen, have a daughter, Maria.
