Eric Johnson is gaining individual induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame tonight for his work as the ace on the mound for the MIAA champion baseball teams being inducted tonight.

After achieving 5-1 records on the mound in 1994 and 1995, Eric picked up six victories in 1996, placing him seventh on the school list for most wins by a pitcher.

Eric’s 2.15 earned run average was third-best in the MIAA as he went 5-0 against league rivals in 1995. He led the MIAA with five wins in the league in 1996.

A two-time all-MIAA first team pick who was also a member of the 1993 baseball team which shared the MIAA title with Adrian, Eric finished with an overall record of 20-6 and a 2.66 ERA. He held the MIAA records with 17 victories and a .850 winning percentage when he graduated.
