Albion College

Jim was an outstanding distance runner, participating inboth track and cross country at Albion. He was the MIAA two milerun champion from 1956-1959, and won the mile run in 1958 and 1959,setting records in both events. Jim led the track team to fourconsecutive MIAA championships and was a co-captain of the 1959championship team.
