Albion College

Leigh was a two sport athlete and a dominant tennis playerat Albion. He was the MIAA singles champion in 1934 and 1935,doubles champion from 1934-1936, and led the team to back-to-backleague championships in 1934 and 1935. As a member of the 1936 MIAAchampionship basketball team Leigh was selected second-teamAll-MIAA.

Leigh began his professional career as a special agent forNorthwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1935 and retired fromthe same company in 1983. His career with Northwestern wasinterrupted while he served in the U.S. Air Force during World WarII. Leigh was a member of the Albion College Board of Trustees from1963-1965. He passed away June 11, 1983.
