Molly Maloney dove in the NCAA national championships in threeof her four years at Albion. Her best performance was afourth-place finish on the 1-meter board in 1997, good forAll-America honors. She also achieved a 14th-place finish on3-meter in 1997, a ninth-place performance on 1-meter in 1998, anda 15th-place performance on 3-meter in 2000, earning honorablemention All-America status in each of those three years.

An All-MIAA diver in 1997 and 1998, Molly held the schoolrecords in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events when shegraduated.

"Molly was an excellent student, and she used her intellectualability to help her athletic performance," Coach Keith Havens said."Molly was very methodical about her approach to diving, and wouldmentally rehearse her dives before she attempted them. She wasaware of the physics involved in diving and that helped her achieveher high level of success."

Molly has remained active in athletics since finishing herdiving career, completing a dozen half marathons and two marathons.She says she has achieved her personal goal of reaching the finishline of a marathon in less than four hours.

Molly completed a doctorate in pharmacy at Ohio State Universityin 2007. She and her husband, Cliff, live in Ogden, Utah, withtheir daughter, Kate.
