Albion College

All-MIAA in two sports, Dexter was a key member of MIAAchampionship teams in track (1979 and 1980) and football (1976,1977), earning first-team All-MIAA honors for track in 1979 and1980, and in football in 1977.

On the track, Dexter was the league Most ValuablePerformer in 1979. At the 1979 league meet, he won the 100-yarddash, the 220-yard dash and the long jump, and he was a member ofthe winning 440- and mile-relay teams. Two years earlier, Dexterhelped Albion to its first NCAA Division III postseason footballappearance. He finished his Albion football career ranked as theCollege's top rusher, gaining 2,447 career yards. The mark stood asan Albion record until 1991.

Today, Dexter is an industrial sales representative forBentler Automotive. He enjoys bowling, softball, fishing and rollerskating. He lives in Grand Rapids with his wife Wendy. Togetherthey have four children: Damon, Demetria, Destiney andDana.
